Configure Input/Outputs

This dialog allows you to map each audio player to a sound playback device. ** Once Mapped it also allows you to set the system master volume and wave volume for each mapped playback device.

 

** The Volume Controls do not operate with all sound cards, on all platforms. This is a limitation of the drivers on these platforms.   When this occurs the Volume Controls will not move above 0. You should be able to set the master volumes under the control panel using the Sound and Audio Devices applet.

 

1 . Player #1 DevicePlayer #1 Device

Player #1 Device

This drop down sets the playback device for Player #1.

 

It is critical to note that if you have the option for a given device to select a DirectSound: version of the driver, you should. Non-DirectSound: drivers do not support multi-file playback and audio file level mixing.

Previewer Player Device

This drop down sets the playback device for the Previewer Player.

4 . Volume Level ControlsVolume Level Controls

Volume Level Controls

The Volume Level Controls allow you to set the master and wave volume levels for each of the selected sound devices.

5 . Update ButtonUpdate Button

Update Button

The Update button stores your current settings and exits the dialog.

 

Note: Upon changing an audio playback device, songs currently loaded into a player must be re-loaded for the changes to take effect.

 

6 . Cancel buttonCancel button

Cancel button

Exits the configuration dialog without storing the changes.
